
On October 19th, Guild Magazine was invited to the Winter 2018 presentation for designer Jeff Wan’s new collection. The event, held at Maison 10 in New York City, was attended by a crowd of editors, buyers, fashionistas, and art lovers who were eager to see what the young, talented designer was going unveil. And, he did not disappoint!
Known for bringing influences from his home island-country of Mauritius to the fast-paced streets of New York, Jeff Wan keeps it going in his latest collection of bags, t-shirts, and did someone say juice boxes? Polished, yet very primal, lovable shapes like the Le Morne Lunch Box take on a new identity in the leopard-printed calf-hair Wan calls, “Cazela.” Sporting minimal details of silver-plated hardware and trimmed in smooth Italian leather, these bags will do anything but camouflage you from the world.
During the event, Wan also introduced a new, and quite nostalgic shape to the collection: the Grand Baie Juice Box. One of our favorite pieces from the line, the Juice Box includes details such as smart magnetic closure and a chain strap that can be worn in at least three different ways. The compact design is both chic and fun.

I’ve been a big fan of Jeff Wan collections and his top-notch products. It’s unique and different from what other players in the market have.
