The fashion and art platform, Art Hearts Fashion, returned for its seventh year to New York Fashion Week showcasing over 100 international designers and artists over a five days period. The event, held at the Angel Orensanz Venue (a neo-Gothic synagogue located in the Lower East Side), attracted over 12,000 guests from celebrities to buyers, and members of the press. Due to this success, a second venue was added at Pier59 to showcase additional designers and artists.
Art Hearts Fashion continues to amass national and international acclaim due to the diversity of talent presented. This year, the show was opened by world-renowned Spanish artist and fashion designer, Domingo Zapata, turning the runway into a live painting session, with a flamenco dance piece being followed by reggaetonero Nicky Jam, who performed his greatest hits for the raving audience. Madeline Stuart, the young model who has been making waves as the first top model with Down’s Syndrome, continued to inspire the world by walking the runway for multiple designers, and showcasing her third collection for her brand, 21 Reasons Why.
Art Hearts Fashion closed the week with an exclusive event featuring the first-ever collaboration between Amazon, Cotton Inc, and Art Hearts Fashion. The “See Now, Buy Now” concept allowed guests to seamlessly purchase the looks they wanted on Amazon through their mobile devices.
Guild Magazine had the opportunity of being present at various of the shows and events held by Art Hearts Fashion during this New York Fashion Week. It is our mission to bring to you, our reader, established and upcoming talents while continuing to be a platform and voice for them.
