New York City – On September 8, 2023, Ralph Lauren unveiled the Spring/Summer 2024 Women’s Collection in a captivating, immersive fashion experience, paying homage to the timeless American style that defines the legendary brand and a “cool and sophisticated” romance. “My new collection is about the freedom of personal style through faded denims, painterly florals, and luxurious handcrafted details,” said Ralph Lauren. “It reflects the individuality of a woman who is timeless yet modern, bold yet romantic.”
The event occurred in the heart of the Brooklyn Navy Yard, where a utilitarian warehouse was transformed into a romantic, rustic, modern setting reminiscent of an artist’s loft. Glimmering chandeliers, draped canvas, and organic textures created a unique backdrop for the runway show.
The Spring/Summer 2024 Collection itself embodied the historic designer’s creativity while showcasing a modern reinterpretation of iconic pieces. The palette featured a vibrant mix of bold colors, ranging from classic blues and whites to striking blacks and golds, highlighting intricate metallic weavings that shined with luxurious handcrafted details. The show concluded with daring combinations of textures, colors, and eclectic jewelry, adding sophistication and romanticism to timeless silhouettes.
Following the runway presentation, an elegant and intimate seated dinner was held in a rustic barn setting inspired by Ralph Lauren’s Double RL Ranch in Colorado. The menu featured Polo Bar Classics, and the decor incorporated heirloom roses, artisanal floral earthenware, and warm candlelight.
