New York City – During this New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2022, Atlanta-based designer and boutique owner Tiffany Brown (a Phd holder) showcased her collection “Lavander,” marking her debut at New York Fashion Week. The collection features 50 different hues of purple throughout a diverse selection of garments ranging from athleisure and ready-to-wear to couture.
With this collection, Dr. Brown has chosen to celebrate the human spirit and its resilience in the face of adversity. After the challenges we have faced since the pandemic started, Dr. Brown decided to create a collection that aims to represent spiritual healing, tranquility, and purification by highlighting pastel colors and delicate fabrics such a satin and tulle.
The runway show was closed with a performance by R&B twin-duo JNA. Notable attendees included Miss USA 2021, Asya Branch, and Orange Is the New Black’s Francesca Curran. – GM
